Christian Service and the Spirit of Liberty!

Christian Service and The Spirit of Liberty!

[My Offline Bible] 2 Corinthians 3
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Until freedom comes positive transformation can't.

Apostle Paul said it was for freedom, that Christ has set us free so that we won't be re-entangled in the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

In Christ we have freedom and liberty. It is needful that we be free if we must serve God acceptably. Freedom offers choices which makes for high quality service.

When you aren't free enough to make choices and you only serve compulsorily, your loyalty can be questioned, it is arguable that you serve because you have no choice. If choice is given you, you might just walk away. You aren't truly serving, you are only in servitude. Those you serve may not know but you know, God knows and you want out!

Compulsory service is slavery, God wants us to be free before we offer him service. Then the service can be acceptable.

He told Pharaoh, he should let His people go that they may serve Him. And God will cause the holders of His people all sorts if they won't let them go...

Does it mean it is also compulsory that the freedman serve Him? Of course not, but now we know what kind of person such a man made free is...

But we saw a woman in Mary Magdalene who was set free from the bondage of seven demons who later served Christ.

We also saw the man of Gadara, who was set free of a legion of demons who went to speak of Christ to his friends.

So, the business of getting people out of whatever bondage is worth the while. When men are made free their service towards God becomes genuine!

With God we aren't in servitude, we aren't serving to pay back, we serve to show we love. We serve to express our love to a loving God. We aren't serving to be free! We are free! And our service comes without murmuring, complaints or regrets...our loyalty isn't in doubt! We aren't serving to get His love, He loves us already! We aren't serving to be paid, He had already given us all that pertain to life and godliness through our ever coming to know Him...we are free and in freedom we serve!

If that's not yet your experience of serving Him, you need to find out how to serve in freedom.

Maybe you have been entangled again, maybe men got you bound, or Satan has you hedged in...you hadn't stood fast in your previous liberty, you let go your freedom and gave room to be trapped again...well, you can be free again in Christ!

You have a right to being free to serve God. You have been made free and you can take back your freedom by faith. All you need do is pick up your freedom where you left it. It is yours. Shake off the deceit of Satan, pick up your faith and confidence again, shake yourself like before, drop the fear both of men and of Satan and take a walk! Walk away from satanic bondage, walk into the liberty of the sons of God with boldness.

The Lord is that Spirit and He is the Spirit of liberty. Drink into the Spirit of liberty, be intoxicated with the wine of freedom, it has been bought by the blood of Jesus shed for you for a new covenant, the covenant that guarantees you total freedom!

If the son shall set you free, you shall be free in deed...if He has set you free, then you are free in deed and no bondage is good enough for you! And no chain of fear is strong enough to hold you down...grow your hair again like Samson and break the chains!

So walk away from bondage! And don't be entangled again! The Lord is that Spirit and He is with you to establish liberty in your life!

It's a great day!

The Kingdom Differences

The Kingdom Differences

To maximise the benefits of the kingdom of God, it's important we identify basic differences that exist between the kingdom of God and the other kingdoms that be. The other kingdoms here include both the kingdoms of this world, secular and religious, and the kingdom of Satan and it's powers.

The kingdom of God runs on spiritual parameters. It isn't a kingdom with a physical space and boundaries but by a spiritual unseen networking that strings together every citizen both in heaven and on earth. It has minimal physical imput and influence. The operations are basically spiritual, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God! 1Corinthians 15:50

But other kingdoms either of men or of spiritual darkness cannot do much without the physical. Meaning things that draw us into the physical are to be careful of if we would enjoy the kingdom of God to the utmost! The kingdom of God runs from the spiritual realm within while other kingdoms are run from the outward!

And the difference continues from there. If the kingdom of God is a spiritual phenomenon, then we have to relate with it by faith. The enormous power and glory of that kingdom cannot be accessed outside of faith. Unlike, here where men depend on walking by the senses exclusively. Natural men cannot receive the things of that kingdom. We would need to step beyond the information our senses offer to that which inspire faith in God and the things of the kingdom.

That means the kingdom of God operates on a source of information different from our senses. The physical kingdoms operate on experiences and experimentations while the kingdom of God runs on revelation. The source isn't from our experiences no matter how robust, or in things we physically test but in the revelations of the Holy Spirit. To enjoy the utmost of the kingdom, we must ride on the wings of revealed knowledge by the Spirit of God. The things concerning us as ordained by God are written on tablet of our hearts and no one knows the things of a man save the spirit of man which is in him. 1Corinthians 2:11

And so the wisdom on which the kingdom of God operates differs from the wisdom the secular, religious and the satanic kingdoms of this word run on. The wisdom that's above is pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to intreat, full of mercy, good fruits without hypocrisy and partiality. But these other kingdoms run on earthly, sensual, cunning and devilish wisdom producing envy, self seeking, confusion and every evil work. James 3:15-17

The lifestyles of the kingdoms are therefore different too. While the kingdoms of this world runs on selfishness, with the ultimate being in self assertion, self aggrandizement, pride, uncontrolled sexual satisfaction, oppression, money worship and conceit of all sorts...the kingdom of God runs on a lifestyle of love, sacrifice, service and self denial. Giving to meet needs so that there'll be equality is the focus of God's kingdom's giving philosophy and not giving as if doing business. Each is equipped with what the other needs and each works to meet the needs of others...and so there's equality through ministry and administration of God's manifold grace! 1Peter 4:10

The kingdoms of this world operates on the system of human inequality, where the weaker serves the stronger almost to worship, but the kingdom of God runs on each serving one another and all serving and worshipping God. The kingdoms of the world run on oppressive hierarchies while the kingdom of God runs on the individual supplying what is demanded of his purpose. Matthew 20:20

The kingdom of God has no room for sin with plenty room for mercy and forgiveness in love, a kingdom where the King Himself empowers the citizens by His Spirit to live righteously in holiness, whereas the kingdoms of this world run with great space for unrighteousness, (with their rulers actively throwing stumbling blocks to trip his subjects) and all sorts of legally acceptable evils but no space for mercy and forgiveness. In the kingdoms of this world, the fairest deal is an eye for an eye...

In the kingdoms of this world, both secular and religious, man rules to satisfy self, same in the kingdom of darkness where Satan rules to satisfy self, but in God's kingdom, God rules to satisfy all....

All these stemming from different laws, different covenants and different natures and internal make up of the citizens: it now depends on individuals to submit to whichever kingdom to experience whatever it offers!

We can check ourselves to know where we are and in which economy we operate...and cut for ourselves the most profitable and reasonable deal...through Christ the Lord and King of the kingdom of God!

Kingdoms in Conflict

Kingdoms in conflict!

When John the Baptist, followed by Jesus started announcing the coming of the prophesied kingdom of God, it wasn't just the people waiting for that kingdom who got the news! The religious oligarchy who have been since Moses were shaken, the kingdom of the then world wondered what that could mean and most of all the spiritual kingdom of darkness were alerted and that news wasn't taken kindly!

In any case, no king will take such news casually or lightly. Daniel, the prophet prophesied it almost to the very moment when it'll break out, Isaiah spoke of the coming Messiah with government upon His shoulder, Ezekiel and Jeremiah spake of the New Covenant, the New heart, the written law in the new heart and the Holy Spirit of God that shall dwell in every heart in the new kingdom!

So the religious leaders, the political leaders and the spiritual rulers of darkness knew clearly what God was planning and each was carving its own plan to counter it!

When Jesus started preaching the new kingdom it was a declaration of war...but that war would be between unequal kingdoms with the greater, backed up with prophecies and omnipotent powers. The result of that was obvious before the start! God wins!

Today, with people pressing into the kingdom through total submission to the Lordship of Christ the king, and consequent acceptance into the beloved through redemption and forgiveness of sins, it is expected that the child of the kingdom sees the defeat of the other kingdoms and their agents!

This isn't the time to fear being overcome by the forces of these kingdoms if we don't voluntarily submit to them.

Apostle Paul said we have been delivered from the authority and power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son...Colossians 1:13

The child of God should  know therefore and have confidence in our great King and kingdom. The rule of the kingdom is that only the will of the King is done, His word is law, seeking the kingdom therefore would mean seeking His will to be done in every area...both in our lives and in the lives of others. That's also how the war is fought!

He has promised that when we seek that those things we need for sustenance shall be added unto us!

What we also must understand is that, with our total submission to the Lordship of Jesus, no other lord can have a say in our lives if we don't permit it. We have authority to wade off every power trying to establish something contrary to God's will in our lives and you can be sure of God's backing! That's what spiritual warfare is all about.

Whoever is planning something contrary to God's will for another is an enemy of God and an agent of the other kingdom! Such isn't seeking the kingdom of God and has pitched self against God in a battle such will surely lose! That's not a good position to be in the warfare going on!

So we need not fear but submit to God and to His Son, Jesus. Doing His will and seeking His kingdom.

We must avoid the slippery grounds of seeking our own will that may be contrary to His, under any guise, doing that we slip out of the boundaries of the kingdom into the bondage of the dark kingdom and though it may work for a while, it won't always work!

Doing our own will is the bait the enemy throws to trap us...we are protected in God's will administered by the Holy Spirit within and the Word of His grace!

Doing our own will is trying to build our own kingdom and such kingdoms become contrary to God's with a destiny of destruction!

Let's stick to seeking to do His will and seeing the righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit that abound in the kingdom!

Within the bounds of that kingdom we are safe, secure and our welfare is certain! In that kingdom we win!

Fit for and Fitted into the Kingdom

Fit for and fitted into the Kingdom

One man came to Jesus and said, 'Lord, I will follow you, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.
But Jesus said to him, 'No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God' Luke 9:61&62

There's a kind of attitudinal fitness that the kingdom of God requires from those who are seeking the kingdom.

Here the Lord Jesus Christ laid bare the major attitudinal foundation the kingdom requires which is total commitment and dedication to God and His will.

The man here had what today would even be called legitimate reason to postpone his commitment to the kingdom just as others in the passage, but it Jesus considered that as putting your hand on the plow and still looking back. Ordinarily, if you do that on the farm you mess up the job.

Each of us need to consider where we have been looking back with our hands on the plow! Legitimate socially expected demands that take our eyes off the demands of the kingdom.

The simple definition of what the kingdom represents is that space or domain where the will of God is done absolutely! Where Christ must reign with all His enemies made His footstool.

Therefore, looking back would mean the distraction that seeking socially acceptable positions bring. Wanting to please self and others while we seek the kingdom of God. Trying to pursue ambitions that don't reflect the perfect will of God while we look occupied with kingdom matters...

Our total submission to the Lordship of Jesus and the leading of His Word and Spirit towards living in the centre of God's will is needed to prove our fitness for the kingdom!

And then again, we can be fitted into God's kingdom. Being fitted means we have our different places in the kingdom. Plows are fitted into each hand. Each plow is customised to each customised hand to produce particular expectations of God. The hand is made for the plow and the plow is made for the hand...and when we put our hands on a plow, it must be exactly the plow made for us, to do and produce exactly what the King made us for!

It won't be in line with the culture of the kingdom to jump from plow to plow according to what attracts more attention, money or accolades of men...

There's a fitted place for each one in the kingdom and in the spirit of the kingdom each must remain wherein he or she has been called...the focus is to do the will of God and nothing else...that way we solidify our position in the kingdom of God!

[My Offline Bible] 1 Corinthians 7
20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

We aren't seeking a kingdom where the society or our aspirations are kings but where God is king and Jesus is Lord and His will is done!

Stay fit for the kingdom and be fitted into the place prepared for you from the foundation of the world no matter how popular or unpopular! Please God and do His will alone!

The Elements of the New Covenant

The Elements of the New Covenant

Jeremiah 31: 31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jeremiah 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

These two passages of scripture come handy in understanding the prophecies concerning the New Covenant.

In addition to these, there are those scriptures that speak of the coming of the Christ, a new kingdom, and some other more obvious elements.

But the scriptures above show us some elements that we need to understand the New Covenant better.

Besides the inbuilt redemption and forgiveness of sin in the covenant, here we see about 3 key elements we must take quite seriously.

1. The new heart and new spirit.
The issue of stiffness of neck, hardness of heart and unbelief have been the bane of the Old Testament. In fact, the law was given among other reasons, because of the hardness of the heart of the people. So the New Covenant contains the element of a new heart of flesh and a renewed and regenerated human spirit loaded with the very nature of God who birthed it!
This operation is what Jesus Christ described to Nickodemus as being born again and wondered why being born again was strange to him being a teacher in Israel.

2. Another element of the New Covenant is the inward law. The law of the new Covenant is written upon the tables of the heart of flesh. Both the general laws and the personal laws are all inscribed on each person's heart. No one has the grace to know things that pertains to you as much as you do, if you are born again under the New Covenant. They are all in custody of your new spirit within.

3. The Holy Spirit dwelling within us is a great element of the New Covenant. He wasn't dwelling within before now. But the grace of the New Kingdom affords the believer to be a carrier of the Holy Spirit. From within, the Holy Spirit leads and empowers the believer to do the will of the Father.

We need to remember that the New Covenant is not merely a division of the Bible but a new deal with man through which we can live to fulfil divine pleasure having removed the weaknesses of the Old Covenant.

Are you born again? If yes, then you ought to know that you have a new heart and spirit within, loaded with enough information to please God and continually being empowered by the scriptures.
We should also walk in the consciousness and confidence of the fact that the Holy Spirit lives within us. Which calls for total submission to His guidance in all things, in every situation.

And if you are yet to be born again, you need the cleansing the blood of Jesus provides, nothing else can wash away the sins of mankind. The death and resurrection of Jesus provides us the blood and the redemption that ratifies the New Covenant and the New Kingdom where Jesus is Lord till the end when He would hand over all rule to the Father.
Submitting to the Lordship of Jesus and accepting the New Covenant makes one a citizen of the Kingdom and as citizens, the new heart and spirit are imparted with righteousness and creates a temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell...

The Hearts that Revival Seeks

The Heart that Revival Seeks

Revivals start with hearts that seek the whole of God and nothing of self.

Hearts ready to give all up for God, hearts with hunger not for fame, not for name or for gain but hearts seeking the will of God to be done at all cost in themselves first and in other people and places. Hearts seeking the total reign of Jesus Christ and His absolute Lordship!

Hearts that seek the kingdom of God and God's kind of righteousness. Not hearts seeking personal kingdoms, where they'll be worshipped and served in place of God or be feared more than God is feared!

Such hearts are results of faith in the words of Jesus, faith that comes from the understanding of the essence of the gospel of Jesus. Faith that sees Jesus as all in all. Faith that comes from knowing Jesus in His Character and doctrine, desiring both with passion and leaning on grace to live that out...

Such faith comes from sound teachings of the works, doctrine and the character of Jesus Christ.

It is such faith that sends us to the place of prayer. Not the place of prayer where we ask to consume on our lusts but the altar where we seek the kingdom of God and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

A place of prayer where we open up ourselves to God in utter spiritual nakedness to cleanse out of us every self seeking, every plan, purpose and pursuit that's out of His will, every aspiration that's contrary to His plan...a place where we cry to the Father in intercession for wicked men and women to be saved, an altar where the flesh and all it's lusts are burnt up in sacrifice for Christ to be formed in us...an altar where the laws of God is engraven on the tablets of sincere hearts!

An altar of the heart, set up in the very temple of God in the sanctuary of the regenerated human spirit, administered by the Holy Spirit Himself.

An altar beyond organised or unorganised religion, an altar beyond this mountain or that, an altar unrestricted by space or time, an altar that's stayed on God irrespective of physical activities and disturbances with constant fire of prayer burning in known and unknown tongues, in thoughts and imaginations in the spirit...

An altar in godly sincerity and truth...

There the fire of revival is kindled and when such hearts connect, the will of God is done as heaven connects with them...there change is born and the course of history altered and none can tell how far such a fire will burn to establish God's kingdom in people's hearts and lives!

Such hearts revival seeks! Who amongst us is ready?

Do we Recognize what we Seek?

Do we Recognize what we Seek?

[My Offline Bible] Matthew  6
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jesus Christ our Lord said we should seek first the kingdom and 'all these things' shall be added.

It is easy to identify whatever He meant by 'all these things' , it is the kingdom of God that's difficult to see.

That difficulty hasn't helped in turning our pursuits away from 'all these things' to pursuing the kingdom.

Even when we say we are pursuing the kingdom, the worrisome thing is that we may actually be seeking something else if we can't clearly identify what that is.

The law and the prophet had prophesied a new covenant and a new kingdom.

The new kingdom was prophesied to have a new law, not written on tablets of stones but on the tablet of blood washed fleshy hearts.

The new law won't be monitored by a human king, lawyers or judges but the Spirit of God deposited within every one.

In this new arrangement, sins and iniquities shall not remembered anymore having been forgiven.

The ultimate is that only the will of God shall be done! The combination of forgiveness of sin, a new heart of flesh, the written law on the table of the new heart and the working of the Spirit of God is to establish the will of God under the Lordship of Christ to establish the kingdom within whosoever would submit to the arrangement!

Jesus said, the law and the prophets were until John but since then the kingdom of God is preached and men pressed into it...Luke 16:16

Jesus taught us to pray that God's kingdom come and that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

Today, God's kingdom is come wherever and in whosoever the will of God is done through the new heart, the written laws on the heart and the Spirit of God received within,  as we wait for the eternal Kingdom of God where righteousness reigns!

It is easy to think that the kingdom of God is the church building we contribute money to execute: if that's the kingdom we seek which may not be even within the plan or will of God, then we seek the wrong thing!

If what we ultimately seek in doing whatever we do in the name of religion and religious activities are what to eat, drink, wear, earthly significance, achievements and recognition then we seek the wrong things and we have no right to expect any additions from the Lord seeking the very things He only planned to add...!

We can't seek our own kingdoms and empires under the cover of Christ and Christianity, where only our will, desires, visions and aspirations are done and expect the fullness of the power of God...

Jesus said clearly that people may prophesy in His name, do miracles in His name and cast out demons in His name and He would still reject them because they didn't do the will of His Father because they had worked iniquity!

We must recognize what we seek! If you call Him Lord, we must live in total subjection to His will to justify our calling Him Lord, that way, we seek His kingdom and His power which was meant to establish His will and kingdom will be activated on our behalf to add 'all these things' in His time....

I pray that God perfects us unto every good work to do His will working in us that which is well pleasing in His sight in Jesus mighty name!

Good morning! Seek the Kingdom daily nothing else!

Meeting Needs? God's Word Remains True!

Meeting Needs? God's Word Remains True!

Everywhere people have reasons to complain. Particularly on matters relating to needs being met. All manners of devices have been created even among believers to stay above the waters and get needs met...businesses have been developed, labor has been encouraged and all sorts of wisdom promulgated, thanks to the wave of motivational speeches and prosperity messages on our pulpits.

In spite of all that, we still have issues with relative prosperity problems. We still have poor people amongst us and many still struggle daily to feed and enjoy basic comforts of life with confidence and a good hope for the future.

Those we think are above boards too don't have to spare, the rich also cry don't mind social media pictures. The fear of remaining poor holds the poor and the fear of not always having as present engages the rich...in all everyone lives on in a kind of selfishness that fear of poverty has instilled.

The bottomline is that human needs are naturally insatiable and resources are scarce outside God inspired contentment.

People therefore have issues. We all have and such is eating up the faith of many in a world where the society further compounds the problems by unnecessary competitions, prestige flounting and fake flamboyance that thrives on financial impropriety, debts and social irresponsibility.

In all these its good we remind ourselves of what God has said since the present economic hardships won't make His word powerless.

The believer must remember to cast all, and not some of his cares on Him with the conviction that He cares... 1Peter 5:7

The believer should remember to have no anxiety about anything no matter how threatening, but to remember that through prayer, intercession and thanksgiving he should make his requests known unto God and peace that makes no sense, in spite of the situations will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus...Philippians 4:7&8

The believer should remember that the righteous shall never be forsaken nor his seed beg bread...Psalm 37:25

The believer should remember that the Father feeds the birds and clothes the flowers as lowly in value as they are, who will also feed and cloth us of we can believe and not live in anxiety....Matthew 6:25-33

The believer should remember that Christ though rich became poor for us so that we through His poverty can become rich...2Corinthians 8:9

The believer must remember that God truly cares and that's why He asked us to ask Him for our daily bread even if we are on a six figure income... Matthew 6:9-11

The believer must always remember that we are His project and He already counted the cost of our sustenance and made provisions for it.... Luke 14:28

The believer must remember that He would meet our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus...Philippians 4:19

When we understand this, it'll be easy to overcome the fear of poverty that produces unbelief in God's promises to meet our needs.

Instead, faith in God and love for all saints will rise in our hearts resulting in the ability to share the little we have to meet other people's needs on Christ's behalf.

With contentment and godliness, we can enjoy great gains in God. 1Timothy 6:6-9

Let's not be too consumed in the pile of bills and the financial obligations mounting upon us to lose who we are...but to move on to faith in what God has said because His word cannot fail... Isaiah 55:11

When we believe those words and respond in faith through love, the power of God is released and new doors open for productivity and patronage in our businesses, even the rocks will bring us water, manna will fall, our grounds will bring forth in plenty, our barns will fill to overflowing, favor will bring excess and we will have more than enough and we shall rejoice in the Lord our God!

Whatever we are going through calls for nothing but the same eternal word of God in its principles, promises, prophecies, parables as presented to God in faith filled prayers and practices....

He will multiply our five loaves and three small fishes to feed the thousands of needs gaping at us for food...

The treasures of heaven shall open unto us and we shall have more than enough as heaven pours out abundance upon us.

Our faith in supernatural supply must not wane, God is still in the business of meeting needs and as we go boldly to the throne of grace we shall obtain mercy and find that all sufficient grace to help with every need at this time...our God, who is the ever present Help in every trouble is loving, faithful and able to do exceedingly abundantly far above all we ask or think according to the power deposited in us to work out all of His will in our lives... Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 3:20

Because His word remains True!

He will come through today!

Good day to you!

Dealing with Leadership Susceptibility to Falling

Dealing with Leadership Susceptibility to Falling

Zechariah 13:7 “Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd,
Against the Man who is My Companion,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
“Strike the Shepherd,
And the sheep will be scattered;
Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya posted a must read message on his Facebook page on the 29th of July 2015 about susceptibility of leaders which inspired a response I wish every leader read. Here is my comment with some editing.

Leaders, just as anybody is, are susceptible to seduction, and surrounding sycophants multiply that susceptibility. They use flattering tongues to inflate the leader into thinking he is bigger than who he really is and the deal is done once the leader connects with that and starts looking down on everyone else.

The one who speaks the truth becomes a rebel and so becomes a prey...yet the sycophant is looking for nothing but a good juicy part of the leader to plant his proboscis to suck the life blood of the system using the leader as conduit.

Once the leader is arrested, the sheep scatter and they become easy prey to use as meat. Every leader must guard himself under God and so guard those God has put under him.

Look out for people around you and understand them to place them.

Judas is easy to locate through his greed, eliminate them. Jesus suffered Judas so that we won't have to, it's part of the exchange at the cross. Don't let his good suggestions on how to be economically prudent ensnare and entangle you when love and charity place demands.
Judases have turned great charitable ministries into business conglomerates for their own personal gains through subtle commercial suggestions in the face of dare ministry needs that God already has answers for through faith and patient contentment.

Peter is easy to know through his forthright reaction to unusual and unexpected events, bring him near even if he sometimes constitutes a pain in the neck, when Satan would sift him as wheat, pray for him and cast out the devil, don't cast him out. Those prying questions would save from many temptations.

John would be known by his spiritual insights and interpretation of issues, he has no place for stories and frivolity of carnality, may look too spiritual for your liking sometimes, but you'll need him as a leader for correct perspectives and understanding of love, warm kindness and willingness to always take responsibility of other people's welfare and of bad situations.

James isn't hard to know with his practical wisdom in getting knotty issues resolved pragmatically tapping into the depth of the Holy Spirit...keep him close.

These being second level leaders will stabilize the boat, they'll become pillars upon which the future of the organization is built and guide others in the same path, but most importantly provide security for leadership against the rebels inside and outside him parading as supports.

Many leaders have been floored and their organizations stunted because of the enemies living in their heads than those who contradicts them from without who they often call 'rebels'.

Leaders who shield themselves from the opportunities of other opinions are most easily floored than those who sometimes look weak as they suck wisdom from their environment for organizational exploits.

Above all, keep close to the Holy Spirit. Not as 'what' is useful in ministrations and in meetings to get your job done but as a Leader who the leader must follow...He won't inspire evil that may lead to failure and falling but will lead in the path of righteousness. When your Peter, James and John would sleep off in your Gethsemany not being able to watch even for an hour, it is only the Holy Spirit who will be there with His help to see you through.
If you don't follow the Holy Spirit you have no right to be followed and whosoever follows whoever isn't following the Spirit is a blind man following another blind man...Jesus told us they'll both fall into the ditch.

The cultic nature of top leadership echelons makes evil deeds easy, see Ezekiel 8:12. The errors of subordinates are easily seen been overseen by the leaders but the errors of leaders with very little or no accountability to anybody would fester behind closed doors for many years till they become monstrous that can't be hidden or tamed anymore.

But eliminating sycophants and planting forthright, spiritual and wise people around and above all following Christ and His Spirit in total submission without hidden carnal agendas but to follow the vision of Christ, leaders can be safe and secure: leaders must always remember that gifts and skills aren't enough to be safe, God's grace of His presence and leadership is what is needed to survive the slippery terrain! God help us!

The Coming Apostasy

The Coming Apostasy

1Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

As events unfolds, it becomes clearer to those who are passionate about Christ's kingdom matters that we are in the days when end time prophesies are hatching and coming to reality like never before.

We are being forced to see why we need to prepare ourselves for the final onslaught before the break.

One prophesy that's in contention seriously at this time is that of the falling away or the great apostasy of belivers departing from the faith. But if what Apostle Paul said here is anything to go by, it means 'some' would definitely fall away. Falling away of believers is something in serious contention in many folds right now.

But it is clear and wise believers would rather find out how not to fall away rather than argue whether it is possible or not. Obviously, if it isn't possible then it won't be necessary to prepare against it, and if it is true those who aren't prepared become vulnerable to the forces that'll be responsible for the falling away.

In preparing, the root cause of the falling away is what we need to identify. In the scripture passage quoted we'll see both the forces that'll be responsible and the process of the falling away from that we can deduce the strategies to apply in order to remain!

Its easy to notice that a potential victim will first give heed to deceiving spirits and demonic doctrines. These attack the foundation of people's knowledge and faith in God and in Christ. The King James Version of the Bible renders it 'seducing' spirits, meaning they come with attractive messages that appeals to the senses with the intent of luring the believer to unwholesome satisfaction of carnal appetites promising no consequences.

So in preparation we must be careful the kind of messages we pay attention to. We must be sure that seducing spirits or deceiving spirits aren't appealing to our carnality to give our consciences the permission to do what's obviously contrary to the Word of God.

Secondly, we'll see that doctrines of demons too will be in free flowing mode. What are doctrines of demons? One, they would be such teachings that creates more faith in demonic activities than in the activities of God, His Christ and of His Spirit. The doctrines of Christ focuses on bringing faith into the heart of hearers towards Christ so that they can call on God and be saved, Romans 10, but the doctrines of demons will promote faith in demonic powers, exploits and activities instead of showing forth the praises of God who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Two, doctrines of demons would be those doctrines perpetuated by demon spirits. Lying spirits are everywhere mounting church podiums and televisions to turn scriptures upside down, dividing the scriptures wrongly in order to deceive.

How do we prepare against these? Simple, we must get our doctrines right. These days, Bible study classes have become unpopular and scanty. The average Christian hardly knows what the Bible says on important issues of their spirituality and relationship with God. Culture, traditions and social trends fill the mind and lives are lived on them rather than on Christ and His word.
The believer must begin to seek the truth of Christ beyond whatever is served on the pulpit, we must be like the Berean Christians in the days of Paul who would have personal researches to find out if what they were told were true. Acts 17:10-12

That scripture passage also tells us how the victim will react after taking heed to seducing spirits and the doctrines of demons.

They'll become vocal about it. They'll speak lies in hypocrisy. They'll become mouthpieces to those demons and their doctrines having been emboldened by their seared consciences. A seared conscience won't feel sin anymore. A seared conscience can't feel bad for pride, sexual or covetous sins. A seared conscience will preach errors with boldness and justify carnality with pride.

Whoever would embolden your heart against the sins of fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, injustice, wickedness and other works of the flesh is a dangerous person controlled by demons to prepare one for the coming apostasy, please avoid such!

After the verbal expression of their thoughts they'll assume some level of leadership to command people and dictate what people practice.

They'll attack the institution of marriage and cast all sorts of doubts on what people eat. When the marriage institution is maligned and people don't see reason to marry, the temple of God which is our bodies is desecrated by sexual immortality thereby setting the people up for destruction as they defy the temple of God 1Corinthians 3:17

The answer is to seek and to know the truth and also to believe the truth without wavering.

Many liars are already gone out empowered by seducing and deceiving spirits and the believer must be fully harmed with the truth to remain standing as we expect the coming of Christ. May He meet us alive and remaining! 1Thessalonians 4:17

I pray God grant us understanding and grace to keep standing. We shall not be part of those who draw back and fall away, rather we shall be part of those who believe on to the saving of the soul in the mighty name of Jesus!

Have a great day!

Let His Will be Done!

Let His Will be Done!

That God's will is not automatically done on earth is obvious. Though we don't always want to exercise such thoughts because we feel it will offend God. But Jesus taught us to pray that God's will be done meaning without a conscious desire and voluntary soliciting for His reign and His will to be done, it won't happen by default.
Yes, He made the world but He gave it to man to have dominion over whatever man did with that dominion is left to man.

Of course, man decided to sell off the dominion to satan by disobeying God at the behest of Satan.

Since then man has a fringe dominion to make things happen but under the overriding dominion of satan, who now is the god of this world. Meanwhile, we all know and have experienced his warped management skills powdered by his purpose to steal, kill and destroy.

Since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God is preached and individuals can push into it through faith in Christ.

And that by voluntarily and personally submitting to Christ's lordship and seeking the will of God to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Jesus must reign until all His enemies be made His footstool. Whatever would contradict the will of God must be brought to its knees.

That's where total submission to and confession of Christ is important, through that we invite His will and reign to be done in our lives.

Seeking to know and do His will within our power becomes important too. We know His will by the words of Christ as written in scriptures and by the Spirit of God within the one who have received Christ.

To establish His will which may be beyond our physical efforts, we pray...

Thy kingdom come and thy will, not ours or Satan's be done on earth and in our lives as it is in heaven!

If we don't do these things we shouldn't expect His will to be done but when we seek His kingdom and pray in submission the rule of Satan is overthrown and Jesus practically becomes Lord on behalf of His Father!

So in this new month...as many as believe with me, we declare our submission to the will of the Father both written and revaled in Jesus name.

We declare Jesus as Lord over our lives and all that concerns us.

We declare that God has delivered us from the powers of darkness and translated into the kingdom of Jesus, His dear Son.

This new month nothing contrary to God's will shall happen to us.

Sin shall not have dominion over us and we shall not be led into temptations but into righteousness by the power and the Spirit of God. The zeal to do good works shall possess us and we shall walk in righteousness daily.

The righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit shall overshadow us to bring the atmosphere of the kingdom into our lives.

This month, God will be our physician and medical doctor. He will take sickness away from us and quicken our mortal bodies by His Spirit within us.

No evil shall befall us. No violence shall be heard within our borders. We are exempted and we are escaped from the evil of each day. The arrows and firy darts are quenched in our behalf.

No other authority shall have a say in our lives. The desires of Satan and of men contrary to the desires of God for our lives are nullified and voided. Only the will of God shall be done.

Poverty, lack and want shall be far from us as the milk and the honey of the kingdom flows to us.

The economy of the kingdom shall override that of the world we live in to open fresh doors and opportunities to receive divine daily allocations. The lines of the world economy is fallen to us in pleasant places because we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ...

We shall live in plenty and distribute to many as we shine forth as light and salt in this dark and perverse world.

In our lives this month, God's will shall be done, Christ will reign and all His enemies shall be made His footstool for His will to be done in our lives in Jesus name.

I pray that we shall all stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. We shall be filled with the knowledge of His will so that we can walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all things and bearing fruits to His glory in the mighty name and authority of Christ Jesus, the Lord! Amen!

It's a great month already!
