Who's Responsible?

Who's Responsible?

The Lordship of Jesus and the concept of grace makes the buck of the believer's destiny to stop at the table of Christ, the Lord.

When you have left all like Peter, and your mother in law falls sick, it becomes the responsibility of the one you'd left all to, to heal your mother in law...just as Jesus did. He is responsible!

When you have left all, and you are hungry or in need of clothing, the responsibility has left you to the one you had left all to, to provide...to Him, a labourer is always worthy of His wages.

If you had left fishing to follow Jesus as Peter and his brother did, becoming the fisher of men isn't your responsibility anymore but that of Christ! He must see to it that you become the fishers of men He promised at all cost to Him. He wouldn't give excuses!

Walking with God and the patience that accompanies the journey sometimes cast the question in the mind; what about us who have left all? Just as Peter asked in Mark 10.

The inability to answer that question has left so many in despair, depression and frustration. Elijah got under the juniper tree running away from God out of frustration and had cried to God to kill him...why? Because he thought he wasn't better than his fathers...

He couldn't see anything successful out of his commitment to the ministry God committed into His hands. Yet, his was the most dramatic of the prophetic era of his generation!

Many are in such despair today. We are always tempted to judge ourselves and the success of our following Jesus fully, the same way the world judges success! And we will always be wrong if we fall for that temptation!

Many, in words or deeds, blame their inability to measure up to their success expectations on their submission to Christ. Many doubt their callings, and are ready to abandon it for other more promising ventures!

The question is, who determines success? From the day a person totally submits to the Lordship of Jesus, the responsibility of defining what success is to the person is no more in the hands of such a person but in the hands of the one who he submits to as Lord.

The pathway a disciple takes isn't his to decide. His prosperity and protection aren't his responsibility anymore but that of his Lord.

He can no longer judge or condemn himself of any personal failure. No one else cannot judge or condemn him of the outcome of his life...

Whatever comes out of his life is the responsibility of no one else but that of his Master.

If such is totally submitted with absolute faith and commitment to Jesus, he or she needs not worry as to where the journey will end; it is sure that the fisher men would become fishers of men!

To you who have left all for Jesus, you need not worry nor judge yourself as to the experiences different from expectations, be assured that the promise shall not fail!

Many out of despair have left the plough and have looked back because of the rigors of the journey, don't join them...Jesus said, they are not fit for the kingdom.

Don't say because you aren't driving the cars others are driving or living where others are living or being as popular as others or as honored....that you are being shortchanged! The one you follow knows what's good for each!

Do you blame yourself or regret taking the steps after Jesus? There's no regret in Christ, you have taken the best decision and have yielded to the greatest lover and the best caregiver ever and you and your destiny are secured in His hands!

Whatever comes out of a life yielded totally to Jesus Christ is either to His glory or to His shame... He takes total responsibility of whatever comes...but according to His nature of creation, He'll never leave a job uncompleted. And His work is never done until He sees that it is very good!

So leave off depression, pain and frustration, do not let despair take you away from your stronghold, for when you leave your firstlove in Christ, you become enslaved to your enemy, who would want you as a trophy won in a game!

Follow on with the Lord, You'll end up becoming what grace would make you...if you keep following Jesus...

Without Him we can do nothing, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. It is His strength that produces in us...without Him we can do nothing...we are all and only what He works out of our lives...

The final product may take some time, just wait and you'll see the salvation of the Lord...wait!

Good day to you!
