The Fire we Need!

The Fire we need!

Today, 'fire' is the super word in most Christian gatherings. And it is scripturally expected to be so.

It was fire that brought about the light we see...let there be light, the first command of creation brought fire!

Sacrifices are offered by fire.

God revealed Himself in the fire to Moses at his call and to the children of Israel on mount Sinai.

The shekina glory of the Holy of holies came from the fire between the cherubims.

Elijah demonstrated the God that answers by fire on mount Horeb, putting to shame the prophets of baal! Elijah the prophet of fire, demonstrated the ministry of fire in his life and in his rapture...riding the chariots of fire to heaven...

It was that fire that purged the tongue of Isaiah to renew His prophetic ministry in the year King Uzziah died.

John the Baptist, described the baptism of Jesus to be of fire and the Holy Ghost unlike the water baptism he did.

He spoke of the fire that would destroy the separated chaff from the threshing floor of God.

It was that fire the two disciples Jesus revealed Himself to after His resurrection on the way to Emmaus testified of, saying 'did our hearts not burn in us, as He spake with us on the way?'

On the day of Pentecost, the fire fell coming with power to witness with an instant manifestation in the ministry of apostle Peter.

Since then, that fire has been a major sustenance of the new righteousness and holiness of God after the new birth.

The baptism of fire that brought upon each one the cloven tongue of fire also brought about the power to witness to men and the new language to commune with God...

So it is expected that the fire remains both in our personal devotions and our public worship and fellowships.

But there has always been strange fires as the one kindled by some in the wilderness. A fire that supports the flesh and all it's lusts and covetousness, which many crave today!

That strange fire can be described as Emotional feelings in religious gyrations that afterwards is only sustained by worldly music channels, and other live party grooves until another religious gyration time in church with so called 'spiritual' displays in dissipation of futilities and vanities through all manners of superstitious fear-inducing spiritual gymnastics that hold watchers and patronizers in subtle deceit-induced bondage to the economic advantage of the host of the show to rob the deceived!

That's the fire most people seek...and nothing more...that's the strange fire that brings destruction!

But there is a purifying fire...the real fire of God! It inspires the soul and spirit,  edifies, comforts, and exalts the regenerated human spirit.  Brings total quickening by the Holy Spirit...and leave one basking in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost in sincerity and in truth... this fire emits holiness and truthfulness having consumed sin, the works of the flesh and it's lusts...

The real fire burns the heart as the word goes out, the real fire expresses love fervently amongst the saints, the real fire births heartfelt prayers that connect the ladder from heaven with angels ascending with requests and descending with clear answers that need no panel beatings to be shared as testimonies to God's glory...

The real fire is what we need. This is the fire that wakes the spiritually dead and brings light to those who sit in darkness. This is the fire that consumes the enemies of God that defiles the temple....this is the fire we need!

This is the fire that must be whenever and wherever we gather, it must be there to burn off the flesh and release the Spirit, the fire to light our path and defend us as we journey in this wilderness of life to our home in heaven....

This is the fire we can't do without, the fire of truth and of the coming revivals!

We need the fire that draws us and all around us towards God without hypocrisy! Let's seek God for the fire...today!

Have a good day!
