Who Rules Your Prayer Altar?

Who Rules Your Prayer Altar?

I'm sure some few wise people will read this message from the Lord to the end and reposition for a revival in their prayer lives for a new level of engagement with God....

Getting things done supernaturally isn't exclusive to God and His kingdom. The Kingdom of darkness too gets things done. What separates the products of the two Kingdoms are the nature and the culture that power and operate within each of them.

[My Offline Bible] Matthew 12
24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

While the nature of love, light and life rule the Kingdom of God, the nature of hatred, evil, wickedness, darkness and death rule the Kingdom of Satan.

Just as God wouldn't be moved outside His will to do things contrary to love, light and life, so also the end point of satanic operations is to bring evil, darkness, despair and death.

Between these two Kingdoms is the authority of man. What rules in life is eventually determined by us. What we permit and excuse happens accordingly in our world. Who we appease or pray directly or indirectly rules.

Many believe God automatically rules. We'll, if God rules automatically it would be impossible to sin against Him for instance. Sin is a sign that we have our choices to make even if the repercussions are definite. If God were to be responsible for everything happening then He would have been the one behind the sin and mistakes we make. We rule our world and we give it to whosoever we would.

In the place of prayer, we are opened to both Kingdoms. The place of prayer is one of those places where we engage the supernatural to permit or refuse whichever one of the divide to manifest in our world.

What directs our prayer is how compliant our desires and petitions are with the will of God or with satanic desires and projects. It isn't where we pray or how we pray or even the name we use that attracts which kingdom to attend to our prayers, it is about whose will is meant to be done.

The will of God in the place of prayer attracts the power of God, and satanic will attracts the powers of darkness. Every will is executed by the power of whose will is being solicited directly or indirectly. Power is only possessed to do the will of the possessor. God doesn't pay satanic bills and satanic kingdom won't foot God's bills.

So we need to know who's will rules our prayer  altars. Whoever that is, owns that altar even if the name of the altar sounds godly. It is not by the name but by the will. Same goes with the altar of our hearts too.

[My Offline Bible] John 15
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Before we would be able to trust our own will in the place of prayer the conditions of John 15:7 must have been met. We must abide in Christ and not only that, His words also must abide in us if we must engage God.

The confidence we have in our prayer relationship with God is that if we pray according to His will He hears us. His omnipotence responds to His will.

[My Offline Bible] 1 John 5
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

But if at the place of prayer and heartfelt desire, we project evil, darkness, death, diseases and despair contrary to God's will, that we address that to God in Jesus name wouldn't stop the satanic kingdom to latch on it to perpetrate evil and destructions. This is the height of the work of the flesh and the believer must be instructed.

Believers must be careful not to devour one another by reason of this error. When people take the flesh to the place of prayer, and evil happens, it's not proper to give such glories to God. They had prayed to the satanic kingdom and the credit should go there.

[My Offline Bible] Galatians 5
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Let's allow the word of God to abound in our heart and let our desires be determined through the will of God and by the Spirit of God so we can be sure which Spirit we are engaging with at our prayer altars.

[My Offline Bible] 2 Corinthians 6
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

[My Offline Bible] 1 Corinthians 10
20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

I pray God grants us understanding in Jesus name!

Good morning and Happy weekend!
