When they say there's no Hell!
Jesus spoke extensively on the issue of hell...
Most of His parables depicting the kingdom of God show us an alternate place incomparable to where those saved will be.
The word 'saved' itself is indicative of an alternate dangerous situation...
That God is pushing for His own kingdom is enough to tell us there's another kingdom ruled by someone else contrary to God...
It was Jesus in Matthew 7 who said a place was reserved for Satan and his angels...or are they going to be in heaven also?
Those who won't live in line with God's rulership would live under the rule of Satan and his angels...
Why should we preach the gospel of the kingdom as a witness against the world? If there's no judgment?
What is the essence of human's freewill? Is man responsible for his choices?
One of the things I've heard on this subject is that whatever we do is done by God through us either good or evil... if that's so, why would Jesus teach us to pray that we should not be led into temptations or be delivered from evil? Why would He deliver us from what He caused, if it is true that He causes everything?
I've also heard that Satan will be forgiven. That God who said we should love our enemies also loves His own enemy that is Satan...and wouldn't send him to hell...
The truth is that even if Satan is pardoned he'll still not want to live in heaven with God, he hasn't repented of his ambition and deceit... even in hell, he remains adamant!
Even after 1000years in prison, he'll still come out to rebel against God and His kingdom! His case is irredeemable!
Call it hell, gehenna, valley of hinnon, lake of fire...and whatever, the truth is that there is an alternate kingdom, and an alternate place aside God's kingdom as it is even now... and the place won't be palatable!
Evil and good are eternal reality. And their eternal separation is just!
God's kingdom is made up of those who have voluntarily submitted to the rulership of God and sworn the allegiance to do His will and take Jesus as Lord no matter what, who also would resist satan at all cost...
There are others who are contented with their own kingdoms, with Satan's kingdom, kingdom of this world both secular and religious, ruled by the god of this world...2Cor 4:4
But to us who have believed, we have been delivered from the power and authority of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God's dear son... and we should stay there doing the will of God Col 1:13
We are told of principalities and powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places...these entities rule in their kingdom of darkness and wickedness....these rule in the kingdom of Satan Ephesians 6, and a time of separation that's coming; the kingdom of God is still in the stage of seedling, the full corn isn't yet but at the full corn, there will be harvest Mark 4. And then eternal separation....
Now imagine when all the rule will be under the devil and the wicked rulers of that kingdom? If that's not hell, I wonder what that is...
We don't have to call it hell...whatever that'll be isn't what anyone should desire...
And God is doing His part, calling people into His kingdom, doing all that He can to save as many as would be willing...through the redemption and the forgiveness of sin that's in Christ and His blood through nothing but faith....
but these devil sent messengers and preachers of doctrines of devils are misrepresenting God as if it's only God who makes things happen...to weaken people's faith in God...and drag people into eternal damnation through unbelief and doubt...
We should be careful!
People erroneously believe that whatever happens, God must have done it...good or evil...and so technically exonerate Satan who steals, kills and destroys...John 10:10
And that makes people doubt God... when we factor Satan into the equation...we know who is causing the trouble! And he can't stop...he won't stop through eternity and through all the separation that's coming! Woe betides those who will be under his rule at such times...and that's the reason why we must not relent in helping people escape him through the preaching and the declaration of the truth...
We need to study the parables of Jesus closely, whenever He says '...the kingdom of God is likened to...' and be sure we read to it's end and notice the separation that often ends them...
That separation is vital and when we downplay the pain that would accompany those separated on the wrong side, we also downplay the essence of Christ's sacrifice, His efforts in sounding the warning and the whole essence of being saved from an impending danger!
We must not be deceived!
Good morning!
