Set Your Calling Free: Deal with the Distraction
Life is more than what you get, life is about what you give. God didn't send us here just for the purpose of laboring, getting rich, enjoying it and dying. We are not sent to eat, drink and die. We eat (inclusive of all we acquire) to live and not just to live to eat.
Divine purposes and assignments are more than how we fare on the earth, when we stand before His throne on judgment day we won't be asked how much we left in our bank accounts and as estate. That'll be like asking a tree how much rain, sunlight, manure and other inputs it was blessed with and not how much fruits it bore for those who worked on it... After all, trees don't eat their own fruits...
We aren't rich just to eat, the value of a rich person is in how his riches had imparted upon those around. A multimillionaire may be more of a curse than a blessing, the wealthiest may be of no value compared to a poor widow who God can rely upon to obey Him and be a blessing to someone on His behalf...
This is where purpose counts... Our assignment and calling is primary to our life's enjoyment. God has called each of us into His partnership, we are workers together with Him to achieve His vision and intentions... He has equipped us with opportunities, great potentials and passion to reveal Him and His love and power. We are here on assignment, we are here for a purpose...every single one of us...
Now, we get distracted by what we'll eat, drink, drive, live in, put on and how we'll be seen and be rated in society... This distraction sounds legitimate. To many it isn't distraction because they really don't know any other thing to invest their lives in than to labour and eat...
But really it is a distraction. Distracting us from revealing the real value of our lives. Distracting from making the impact punch on life that brings meaning and fulfilment to our living...
This distraction is a destiny trap, it is shackles to the feet of vision and chains to the hands of life's callings. It must be broken through knowledge in the place of consecration and revelation of divine purpose...
Breaking the chain of this distraction is one of the assignments God will be visiting us to perform this coming Saturday...
Pray in preparation and in expectations that grace will be released and men and women will discover their life's callings and set them free to achieve great things for God and for humanity...
God will do great things!
You are invited....
