Set Your Calling Free: Cry Aright

Set Your Calling Free: Cry Aright

[My Offline Bible] Isaiah 40
6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

The Lord God called out to Samuel, the young lad given to the Lord and staying with the old Priest and Prophet Eli. But he wasn't used to the voice of the Lord, it took the intervention of the old man to get the conversation started...

When God calls, the initial call may not be as clear as to be quickly acted upon. There is always a need for clarity and clarification.

Isaiah had the call to cry, and he had to ask, what shall I cry? Otherwise, he may not be able to cry aright.

Knowledge about the call is important to the one receiving the call. It is possible to hear the call and not know what one is called into. It is possible to know what one is called into and not know how to do it. It is also possible not to know the positioning in the system, the physical placement, the sustaining system for the call and so many other information about one's call...to many it's just another life's project.

This gap in knowledge attracts all sorts of lies to fill. Many make religious sense and so occupy the mind. Many of those lies keep people running helter skeeter with lots of efforts without doing God's will...

Lots of callings are trapped in this quagmire and confusion...and must be set free through knowledge to their fulfilment...

This Saturday at Grace Missions International 2016 Midyear Ministers Retreat we'll be seeking God's face and His Word to set those callings trapped by various issues free to fly and fulfil their purposes...

Pray along, refer someone, be there if possible...

We trust God to awaken the sleeping army of giants and raise saviors from the mount of Jacob to judge the mount of Esau.. We expect dry bones to live again...

Good morning

Set Your Calling Free: Deal with the Distraction

Set Your Calling Free: Deal with the Distraction

Life is more than what you get, life is about what you give. God didn't send us here just for the purpose of laboring, getting rich, enjoying it and dying. We are not sent to eat, drink and die. We eat (inclusive of all we acquire) to live and not just to live to eat.

Divine purposes and assignments are more than how we fare on the earth, when we stand before His throne on judgment day we won't be asked how much we left in our bank accounts and as estate. That'll be like asking a tree how much rain, sunlight, manure and other inputs it was blessed with and not how much fruits it bore for those who worked on it... After all, trees don't eat their own fruits...

We aren't rich just to eat, the value of a rich person is in how his riches had imparted upon those around. A multimillionaire may be more of a curse than a blessing, the wealthiest may be of no value compared to a poor widow who God can rely upon to obey Him and be a blessing to someone on His behalf...

This is where purpose counts... Our assignment and calling is primary to our life's enjoyment. God has called each of us into His partnership, we are workers together with Him to achieve His vision and intentions... He has equipped us with opportunities, great potentials and passion to reveal Him and His love and power. We are here on assignment, we are here for a purpose...every single one of us...

Now, we get distracted by what we'll eat, drink, drive, live in, put on and how we'll be seen and be rated in society... This distraction sounds legitimate. To many it isn't distraction because they really don't know any other thing to invest their lives in than to labour and eat...

But really it is a distraction. Distracting us from revealing the real value of our lives. Distracting from making the impact punch on life that brings meaning and fulfilment to our living...

This distraction is a destiny trap, it is shackles to the feet of vision and chains to the hands of life's callings. It must be broken through knowledge in the place of consecration and revelation of divine purpose...

Breaking the chain of this distraction is one of the assignments God will be visiting us to perform this coming Saturday...

Pray in preparation and in expectations that grace will be released and men and women will discover their life's callings and set them free to achieve great things for God and for humanity...

God will do great things!

You are invited....

Set Your Calling Free: Define Your Success

Set Your Calling Free: Define Your Success

When God qualified success in speaking to Joshua, Joshua 1:8, I'm sure it's simply because success isn't always success as He would describe it.

There is good and there is bad, or not so good success. His success is defined in that verse as one that comes by daily and nightly meditating on God's word in order to observe the Word to do according as it is written therein.

It means success can be produced by not following God and His word. And that's evident. Many of the richest and the wealthiest of this world do not believe in Christ and many of them who do can't say they got their wealth by following strictly the Word and the Spirit of God...

Many callings have been trapped in this phenomenon. Whatever a person defines success to be becomes the target of his pursuit. He is going to commit all he has as possessions and potentials, both tangible and virtual into achieving that.

Many gifts and callings are trapped in being used as tools to achieve the kinds of success not recognised by God but in the name of God...

Today, what the man Jesus Christ had as possessions while here on earth matter only a little compared to the fulfilment of His purpose as the Lamb of God crucified to take away the sin of the world and so give to the world the way of salvation...

Jesus Christ was such an enigma that the people were ready to make Him a political king. He didn't also have to die, He had the choice of not upsetting the religious leaders of His day to avoid being killed, He could have avoided all the liberating reformation He preached to stay alive and even if He didn't, He had the power to escape the death... But He wouldn't because good success to Him was to shed His blood and give His life for the salvation of mankind...

Good success is fulfilling divine purpose and to that we have been called and sent forth with gifts of grace to accomplish.

But like Judas Iscariot we may decide to use our privileges and potentials to pursue success as defined by the world and not as defined by God's purpose. And callings so abused get trapped and in danger of not being fulfilled...even if it is used to achieve worldly wealth, accolades and awards...

But when we redefine success and embrace the good success syndrome by following God's purpose and passion and pursuing it with all potential and power within us we achieve that kind of success that preserves those who have them.

All of success to Mary was to give birth to Jesus. She did and she's blessed forever among women.

All of success to Mary Magdalene was to pour her expensive jar of alabaster oil on the feet of Jesus to fulfil the requirements of burial preparation for Jesus Christ and forever where ever the gospel is preached she'll be remembered...

All that Simon of Cyrene was born to do was to help Jesus Christ carry His cross on the way to Golgotha even if he was compelled to do so...that was success...

All that Joseph the Arimathean was born and was made influential to do was to ask for Christ's body and to provide a tomb where it would lay till His resurrection on the third day...his becoming influential and affluent wasn't his success but the fulfilment of His calling to use that to preserve the body of Christ in death till resurrection...

Many have lost the essence of their callings as they use them to pursue the error of world defined success...

You must set Your Calling Free to achieve divine purpose and pleasure... Their in lies your success...

Let's gather to pray this Saturday... Seeking God's face and to leave with our callings ready to fly into achieving it's divine purpose... Don't miss it, if you are in Lagos, don't miss it... If you can travel over, do...God's visiting...

See details on flier...

Good day!

You can't Divide the House

You can't Divide the House

Responding to a post warning against selfishness in the church...the page of King's Court Royal Assembly this morning...

"The Lord, Jesus Christ taught that we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and leave the things the world seek to God to be added unto us.

Nothing deals with our selfish nature as that. Seeking the kingdom of God isn't seeking our own  personal kingdoms and empires as we see many children and ministers of God do today. The ministry has become someone's ministry, the church has become the pastor's church, it isn't the household of God anymore. Competition and rat race between Churches and ministries. Ministries swallowing up ministries, churches annexing Churches as franchises, we aren't anymore better than the fast food or the banking industry, in fact our own competition is fiercer because no civil laws control things...
Look at our new found prayer system, spiritual warfare isn't against principalities and powers anymore but against brothers and sisters as we suspect people wanting to kill us to take over our ministries and churches... People are ready to step out of Christ to get things to fight others as they compete for positions...

But a house divided against itself shall not stand and when a wise builder as Christ is the one building you can't divide the house, you'll rather be expunged and spewed out from His mouth... Christ isn't divided, so said the scriptures meaning those in division stand in danger of losing their places in Him

We need to caution ourselves. We ask and receive not because we ask to consume on our lusts...we consume each other as we bite and devour each other...God doesn't answer prayers prayed to consume on personal lusts but when you ask for selfish reasons and you get what you ask for be careful that you haven't started having fellowship with the world of darkness... Satan too answers prayers...

This is a timely warning. We aren't sent to compete with one another. Denominationalism isn't the perfect will of God. Church membership isn't either but membership in the body of Christ. Success is about obeying God and not in how many members or branches we have... Are you doing the will of God or not? Are you seeking the kingdom or yours? Is God, the Father of Jesus Christ your God or your belly is? Are you pursuing a personal ambition or seeking to fulfill a true mandate of God?

We shouldn't wait till the day of judgement to discover, we must examine ourselves now..."

Responding to Present Economic Situation

Responding to Present Economic Situation...

All manners of wisdom are flying around now, some discouraging and panicky.

Many of them attacking the Christian love life and selfishness is being promoted which I believe will backfire soon...

But what must we do that'll balance reality with godliness, that'll balance faith in God with the wisdom of God and won't neglect common sense?

This is my advice...

We need to cut excesses, change impulse buying and prestige spending habits. Become more reliant on God by faith. Become more compassionate because this is biting harder on people and God is looking for more widows of Zarepath to use to replace ravens and bless... So share with those who are suffering this time. People in full time ministry without congregations like Elijah, widows and orphans, jobless people, street guys, homeless people etc should be prime target to share with... That's where God is hiding presently.. Nothing should be too big or small...

Be careful not to run like Naomi and her boys... God will soon visit us and things will change...

Wine and oil and other luxurious inanities should be discouraged.

Wastage of food must be stopped, and particularly when power is not too stable, be careful how you cook or buy perishables...

Watch your health... And stand on God's word for healing and supplies daily... Give thanks and don't complain...

Watch who you share your pains with, so that you don't become a bigger burden to people...

Be lenient with your spouse, and be considerate, don't add to the burden already... Be a support, get closer together. Don't compare yourselves with other households...

School fees may soon soar, my younger children school already called a meeting to that effect and my head too is already working as I trust God...
If changing schools will keep them in school why not? If home lessons can replace schools with other children in the neighborhood coming too, why not... So long a teacher or two can be paid to handle them..

I'm sure some public school too can be good enough to take care of things...

Most school decisions are prestige based not necessarily based on efficiency...

One of the best secondary schools in my neighborhood around Iyana Iyana to Jakande Estate is a public school... It is verifiable...

But people don't go because of prestige... It's better than to deprive schools their money or deprive children schooling...

Improvise with wisdom... While this lasts.... It'll be better now...

Now, new millionaires are going to emerge out of people's innovations and improvising.

New ways of doing things and achieving same results or even better will surface that'll be convenient and suited to people's economy will emerge. If it emerges through you, then you are made...

New businesses and models will come, just like canoe soap replaced key soap in the 80s. Just as close up toothpaste took over from macleans. Just as cowbell milk took over from peak and Nido powdered milk in the 80s...new businesses will emerge... From wisdom and from the Spirit of God...

Let God lead you like he did Isaac in his time of famine...

God bless us all...

You Are Forgiven, You are Washed, Believe it!

You Are Forgiven, You are Washed, Believe it!

God has forgiven your sins in Christ Jesus, He has a provision for your never committing a sin again, He is still ready to forgive if you sin again, He has washed your sins away by the blood of Jesus once and for all, and the blood remains available in case you sin again until you get to the point of never committing sin again. He also made a provision by which you are led to do what's righteous and good by the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who leads in the path of righteousness and works in us that which is well pleasing in God's sight...the Holy Spirit leadership is the new law.. So that when we yield to His leading we can not go against any law, either the one we know or the one we don't... We do what God desires per time and per situation...pleasing God in holiness and in righteousness...

If you are thirsty and hungry for righteousness, here is your salvation... This is the goodnews, God has done, all in grace, expecting you and I to receive...

I wish the whole world know this...

[My Offline Bible] John 1
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Do you believe your sins are taken away... Not just for those who already believed, the Jews, the Greek, white, black, Christians, non-Christian, church goers or not, moral or immoral... The sin of the whole world is already taken away by Jesus Christ, let nothing stop you from receiving that grace, let no religion, tradition or custom stop you from receiving this... No other thing can be done as a substitute, nothing else can create the Holiness we desire, nothing else can appease God as the sacrifice of God's lamb provided by Himself...

Believe, take personal action and tell someone else...share this, let the world know her sin has been taken away by Christ and His blood!

Good morning!
